New Tyres & Average MPG for a mk4 Golf Anniversary

Could someone recomend me a good tyre for my 1.8T Anniversary?

Also what average mpg/miles from a full tank do you get.

Don't know about average mpg but I can recommend Goodyear F1 tyres, personally I've not found any other tyre with the good balance of grip vs wear rate
