Thinking of upgrading the brakes on my ur quattro. I already have braided hoses & EBC discs (which I don't like, incidently) but would like to consider improving things further. I will be keeping the standard 15 inch wheels, so any upgrade has to fitbehind these. AP do a kit, I think, but I have also heard of people fitting Porsche brakes. Any one got any experience of this and of the relative costs/ benefits.

The car is mostly used on the road but will also be used for the odd track day as a replacement for my 944 Turbo (which has 928/993 brakes!)

Thanks

Won't let me register my e-mail address for some reason & I can't use the "contact administrator" button either - "e-mail link disabled". What's that about?

I have driven an RR recently which had the AP racing set up at the front, seemed to work well (on the road at least), beleive it was fitted by Quattrosport down at Haywards Heath.

Speak to Corey at quattronics, he does an excellent upgrade package using Sport quattro discs with Porsche 996 4 pot alloy calipers.

Yup, Corey is the guy to speak to. MrsR's UR S4 has the 996 calipers on it as fitted by Corey and they are great.

I'll give Corey a ring but does his kit fit beneath the standard 15 in wheels? That's an important consideration for me.

It can be done as I've seen it, and I'm 99% certain it was Corey who did it.

Contact him @ info@quattronics.co.uk
