Which oil for Mk2 Golf 16V Gearbox?

As this is a weak point I am going to change the oil, Autodata says 2 litres of fully synth 75/90W.

Any other recomendations?

Dog's wotsits is supposed to be Mobilube 1 SHC 75W/90 - that's what I chose for both porker and my old 8V Gti Mk II.

Redline MTL is quite popular at Club GTi, you will need 2 bottles which is just under 2 litres. Seems ok in mine!
