Does anyone know the internal load area width on a TT Sport? What I'm looking for is the internal width available once the hatch is opened. I'm hoping it's 1m or a little more.

Thanks.

If this helps, i could fit a full set of adult golf clubs in the rear hatch of one when i had it. Room to spare i think?
I take it that your lookin at getting one? If you want any advice let me know, i ran one for 3 months as a co car.

Yes, considering getting one as a daily driver so it needs to be semi practical. Two seats are fine.

Quite like the idea of the Sport as they are relatively uncommon, offer reasonable performance, should be reliable and most are still within manufacturers warranty. I really need to go see an example and take some measurements just to ensure they offer sufficient space in the rear - as I say, I need 1 metre width from side to side at the most narrow point. I imagine any TT will be the same in this respect so I'll pop out with a tape measure in the morning.

My main memory of the Sport from a test drive just after they were released was of a very uncomfortable (tight!) seat. I'm used to a cramped seat having owned two M3 CSL's, but this seemed a little tighter! I guess it's something I would get used to.

Yeah the seats are very tight, although you could get them with the standard TT seats if you can find one.
I never found the car un usable, shopping fitted in the boot, golf clubs fitted in the boot (what else do you need??!!)
There should be some very good deals out there, as people progress and want something more practical. Just stay clear of the Misano Red/Black one (pure resale purposes only).
Avus silver and black/black are the nicest colours and probably best for resale.
Just watch out for ex Audi Demo's, they have all been ragged to within an inch of their life (trust me). The bucket seats can also be creaky.

Good luck finding one.

Lol...unfortunately I do have a specific requirement over and above golf and shopping!!

Do you recall what colour options there were, I thought there was a Grey but I could be confusing it with Avus Silver?
