S3 on the cards?

I'm going to look at (and hopefully test drive) a 2002 S3 in Nogaro Blue, 58k miles, grey leather interior etc.

Looks clean (from the website!)

Any recommendations on what to look for / possible problems? Also it's marked up at £11995 - is this WAY over the odds or about right for a good one?

I'm currently looking at one of those myself. usual stuff. Timing belts changed, good SH and all electrics working seem to be the main things

just sold mine a few months ago.

front arb bushes normally go early. Can also wear out arb on contact points
check for cluncking noises and squeking going over bumps.

look for full his and to also confirm haldex filter changed every 40k and re oiled every 20k.

Waterpump done before 80k, wishbone bushes go at around 100k
