Golf TDi GT 140ps - running in question...

My other half as just received one of these as her new company car. Can anyone tell me what the running in procedure (if any) there is on this car? We don't seem to have been given the handbook and the car was dropped off by a transport company so there was no-one to ask on delivery.

"company car" and "running in"??

In my younger days of having company cars I recall that the preferred method seemed to be "dump the clutch from max revs and drive it like you rented it"

On a serious note though, I'm not sure. Maybe just take it easy for the first 1,000 miles or so?
