Golf 1.8t remap

Hey

I'm having my Golf remapped this week, its a 2001 model 150bhp, does anyone know what bhp I should expect, I've been told that it will go to about 220bhp. Also what will it now do 0-60 in?

If yours is a K03 rather than a K03s turbo that is really, really pushing the limits of the little thing! Usuall practice is 190-195 from those for the sake of reliability.

Traction will become the limiting factor of your 60 time, you'll notice the gain more with in gear accelaration anyway.

Is there a model in that year that can take that sort of increase?

Well, yes, yours can but not with that turbo. Either find a good used K03s or K04. Standard intercooler and boost hoses are a bit crap too.
