Thought i would update the story .......

after all the trials and tribulations with my beloved car, Audi have decided the best way forward (without getting solicitors and a court case) etc involved to buy my car back off me and order me a new one!

The car went back to the dealership on Saturday ..... a new car ordered, and as stunning as the car is, I wouldn't wish it on anyone ...... it is a lemon!

Thnig is, on paper it is a great buy, low milage for a nearly 3 yrs old car, only a few stone chips on bonnet but other than that ... spotless! Apparently even if a potential customer asks, they do not have to divulge any problems the car has had, (you know the small matter of £10k worth of work so far and 9 months in the last 12 in the garage undergoing investigation and repairs), buyer beware.

I will post again if I see it up for sale, but have a feeling it will be chucked through the auctions ... I had no other option bu tto sell back, hardly a car I could sell privately and still sleep at night, so will sit back and wait for my delivery date and pray I can't get the lemon twice in a row ??!

I really think that it's just been a case of rotten luck - I saw recently an 04 plate car with 134,000 miles on (almost all done in the last 2 years) - owner reported othing more serious discs, tyres and servicing over the duration.
