Golf TDi 170 DSG opinions?

I've suddenly got to do quite a few miles and have thought about picking up one of the above to keep the miles off my nice cars. I've been offered a nearly new one on a decent shortish term lease with the equivalent of 30k miles pa.

I've driven a GTi with DSG and liked it - what's it like with the 170 TDi?

Drove the A3 with 170PD and DSG, thought it was great, went very well.

Cheers, I'll go and drive one this week. Was going to get something a lot pokier but I need to pass it on to one of our sales people in a few months and they cost enough to insure as it is, let alone putting them into R32's!
