VW Golf MK5 electric mirror programming

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a 57 plate VW Golf GT Sport. In trying to reset my trip meter (with various key presses (and not realising it was the 0.00 button...)), it looks like i managed to re-prog the wing mirrors, so that they do not operate individually, but when you operate the drivers, it also operates the passengers.

Anyone know the key combo to get it back to the way it was?? i.e. one mirror at a time?

I do not have the MFD display or steering wheel.

My girlfriend works for VW and she says-
They all do that, Bad design really and something everyone asks. You have to operate drivers side first and then move the passenger side. HTH
