What work needs to be done?

My polo has a bit of play in the steering and has a slight knock when it travles either way

what parts/ cost do you reckon will be needed to sort this?

Couple of track rods I imagine - probably 25-30 quid a piece, an hour to change them and then whatever you pay for a decent 4 wheel alignment locally.

Might as well make sure the top mounts aren't knackered while you're there.

Sorry yes looking at the mot report the 2 causes are the rack and the top mounts
