Hello all, I would really appreciate any help pricing my current Audi, it seems almost everyone that wanted a V8 A6 bought an RS6 so there are very few comparables to help me know either what to advertise it for or what to accept at trade in.

A6 Avant 4.2SE Quattro Tiptronic
Silver / Black lthr
52 plate
60,000 approx miles
FSH
Pretty big spec plus bluetooth kit and rear parking sensors
7 seat option
Needs a little tidying, which I will do, so assume excellent condition

Any help gratefuly received, as excited as I am about a third child, I will be sorry to see her go.

Rgds,
Stu

Big petrol engined Audi's are thin on the ground as you say. Also with recent petrol prices demand will not be strong. Everybody wants the diesel.
Glass's guide on Vauxhall site suggests £10k trade in so I would say between £12-13k private.

You will just have advertise it and see what happens. You can always reduce the price if it doesn't sell.

What price would you be happy with?

April CAP on this is 8300 clean, 7575 average, 6775 below. I'd expect it to be 1500 behind this to a trader, however. Absolutely everyone is struggling with large petrol engines.

Thanks all for the input.

I called a trader and was bid approx 7k. I then called the main dealer i bought the car from who said that 7k was about right. He also said how difficult it was to shift big engine petrol cars.
I think I will tidy her up and advertise for about 10K, my wife is due in August so I still have a little time. I really didn't know what to advertise it for, but hopefully 10k should attract some calls. (this car was 50k new with all the options!)

Thanks again,
Stu
