Daggerpie, thats an AAN engine, S2 will be the ABY, albeit nearly identical different paths for the plumbing.

Ok, there is def an engine for sale on the s2forum - £250.00, look for a chap selling a "1995 S2 coupe" - read the thread and it will make sense..

sorry didnt mean to be a smart bottom! there isnt that much difference in the engines themselves, the S4/S6 had more room in the engine bay so the plumbing was routed a little shorter.

s2forum.com & audifans.net i would post an add, shared users on both often. S2forum has a pretty large userbase of just 2.2T users! s2avant obviously knows one for sale.. always handy.

its a 91 j reg 5 speed looking to put newer motor and 6 speed in it,tried dealer you mentioned but no joy.but thanks anyway.cheers

a 3B to ABY conversion... research wisely! there are quite a few subtle differences between the two.
