RS5?????????

Is there an RS5 planned? If so when is it due and what is the likely pricing?

Any performance figure etc would be great too.

yes, its strongly rumoured there will be a RS5. it will be released after the RS6, based on past RS model releases it will come out in the last 2 years of the current 5 platform before it gets a facelift. pricewise based on premimums over S cars expect it to be 10 to 20 percent more than a similar S5, performance wise i expect they will use the RS4 engine, i don't expect it to be much faster than the saloon, probably slightly faster than the RS4 but slower than the R8.

That's a dissapointment if true. I'd hope for there to be a high zoot R8 by the time an RS5 rolls around that would allow them to drop the biturbo V10 or a new biturbo V8. Maybe DSG too....
I'll just keep dreaming.
