Fix it, but dont smoke.

Sorry, but do you really need to come to a forum to ask that type of question? You have a potential for a fire, explosion or even someone dying, get it seen too pretty damn quick.

sorry i didnt realise the forum police was here, what are you doing on this forum if you know all the answers. I was asking a simple question to stop it leaking until he can get it to a garage. I guess the question was too hard for you.

You'll find that it is common sense more than anything else.

Telephone/garage/urgent.

Not forum police at all, as Glassman says, its common sense really.

As for me knowing all the answers, you asked for an answer and i gave it, it was "get it fixed asap", for your own sake and for your husbands sake, not for mine. I was actually thinking of potentially, saving your life.

Thank you

I knew he had to get it fixed you didnt have to tell me that bit! I was asking what could he stop it with until he got to a garage because he was in work and if it carried on leaking he wouldnt of had enough petrol to get home. He's taken it to a garage this morning so hopefully it gets fixed

You didnt say anything of the kind in your first post. Perhaps if you re-read it yourself, then you will see why i answered it as i did.

actually agree with you, it was rather an unnecessary response.

Unfortunately I couldn't picture the part and mine is parked up a distance away so unable to help!
