seat Ibiza cupra

Hello seat people
I had a wee dice with one of these ibiza cupra things today, it was yellow and said cupra on the boot, I cant remember if it said "R". Anyway I was wondering what bhp it would have had? It was blitzing me on the straights (my pumas only got 100bhp as its a 1.6 ). It had the newer type of curvey headlights which I noticed as I passed him

As standard the petrol version puts out 180bhp and the diesel puts out 160bhp, both are easily remapped to around 200bhp. I've a remapped diesel Cupra and it's pretty nippy.

It would blitz you! MK4 Ibiza Cupras put out 180bhp and the Dervs 160bhp What part of the country you in?

central scotland, it was on a wee road that I know rather well and he obviously didnt so I was able to catch him through the twisties and there isnt really many straights to speak of, he was pulling away rather blooming quick when it did straighten out though, It did seem bloody rapid, didnt realise it was that rapid though, I was figuring 140-150bhp! real drivers have fords though you know

We have a Seat Leon diesel atm, and it has the 140 BHP engine which I think you can get in an Ibiza, and even in the larger Leon it is bloody rapid so I can imagine it would blast anything in an Ibiza!
