Morning all,

Woke up this morning to find some delightful person has kicked the st out of my passenger wing mirror during the night. Not great to discover when you have a hangover! mad

Managed to put the housing bits back together, but the glass is smashed to bits. My question is, where can i get the best replacement glass part? Its connected by two wires, so can i just buy the front part without having to fork out for a whole new unit? (non chrome one)

I anticipate your responses, im off to remove the black scuff marks from the passenger door where the fker must have been stood there for ages kicking it!

erm, you need to go to audi for that - and they're not cheap. Sorry to be blunt but they are heated and tinted and possibly curved for blind spot elimination.

I picked up a heated passenger side heated door mirror glass for my 2001 A3 from German Swedish and French....cost under £20 if I remember correctly.

No need to go to Audi for it I would have thought as they stock loads.

If it's just the actual glass you're very lucky, I got an original tinted, heated jobbie for £27, however the other side was more expensive and closer to £40. Just go to Audi IMO.

Cheers for the replies guys, ended up heading to Southampton Audi, and ordered one, about £25 in the end, better than i had thought.
