Oxygen Sensor

Just had my car serviced and new cam belt fitted...Engine light was on so asked the garage to check this out. DIAG report came back with two errors:

17586 P1178 Linear Sporadic:
Oxygen Sensor
Pump Currect:
Open Circuit

17604P1196 O2 Sensor Sporadic:
heater circuit,
Bank 1-sensor 1
:electrical
Fault

I have been told that I need a new oxygen sensor but the part alone is £136! Then £50 labour!

Firstly does this sound right and secondly how difficult is this to do yourself? Found a few guides for other cars and doesn't seem that bad?!?!

Easy peasy to fit and why pay £136 when a £14 universal one from fleabay will do just nicely (just make sure you wire it up right!!)

There are loads of sensors to choose from so just make sure you get the right type
