Hi Guys, my coat got stolen from the gym tonight...However the keys for my Audi A4 TDi 2004 were in the pocket. I have got home by getting the Missus to bring the spares out, but now they have my car keys and know where it parks so all they have to do is press the plip and she will light up. Can i get my car reprogrammed so that they cant do this?

Yep, Any dealer can reprogram the car so the remote wont work and more importantly it wont start the engine as the key transponder will be done too. But the key will still mechanically fit the lock, so they can open it and nick stuff from inside.

If you got protected no claims, do an insurance claim and get new locks and keys all round.

That will do, as they will have to try all the Audi's as opposed to just pressing the button and it letting the cat out of the bag. Any idea on cost?

0.3 hours at what ever your local dealers labour rate is. We are £88+vat. £35 ish. They probably try and sell you an extra key/remote too as you lost the spare. £80 ish.
