I love vw bugs and i am strongly thinking about getting one when i get cash. anyway, what are scat motors like, what are their price and how reliable are they??
i've heard they're very good, i had a few components on my 1776. if it is a standard flat four, i'd suggest DIY. its a really easy engine to work on (buy keith seume VW Beetle performance handbook)
look at a 110 duration cam, and a pair of Dual choke 40mm Webbers (IMHO)
