B5 RS4 buying tips please

[brisel]

I'm looking at buying a 2001MY RS4 Avant, and would appreciate any tips on what to look for.

RS246.com has a guide:

Is there anything else that should be on the list?

TIA

Covered in here a few times recently, have a scout around for loads of pointers.

RS246 guide is useful but don't take everything you hear on there as gospel - they're a very, very, very critical bunch at times.
