The way the market is at the moment it's very difficult to put a price on it. Some really good cars are going for silly low money.
Best idea is to have a look at autotrader and see what similar cars are selling for and that will give you an idea. Remember the advertised price is very rarely the final selling price so bear that in mind.
Good luck

unfortunately as its a automatic that is going to limit the appeal straight away.
Is it 5door or 3 door? and is it a highline?
It is at the low end of the millage scale for a VR as well, most are hovering around 100k or so mark now. If the bodywork is good an the engine has been kept serviced and you have some proof then id say if you are prepared to be patient you ought to get more like £1500-1700. If you want shot fairly quickly id take anything over £1K
A garage near where i live has a 5dr auto VR with similar spec with 32k on the clocks for £3000 but its been on the forecourt for >6mths now and reduced to £2800 and still doesnt look like its going anywhere soon.

its done 70,000 miles, and the body work is still very good. theres maybe 2 or 3 minor scratches on the paint which have been retouched so its hardly noticable. and its pearl black so looks better than most other VR6's, plus the BBS wheels are refubred so no scratches at all. i paid £5000 for it 5 years ago so i wasnt expecting much, but £2000 would be great so i think i'll start it off at that price and invite offers. what do you guys think?
