I have noticed a little bit of oil at the bottom of the intercooler wear the pipe fits on , but i have been told it is normal for this leak.hope you all can help thanks everyone

The noise maybe a boost leak.

If you can see oil around one of the boost pipes the O ring seal will need replacing. Chances this is the cause of the noise you can hear. Whoever re-mapped your car should have checked this.

This is not normal and should be repaired fairly soon.

i would say o rings or a small whole in one of your induction pipes another thing to check is exhaust back pressure but you say it still has power so i doubt that

i replaced the two seals that go by the intercooler and have noticed a small smear near the turbo out let pipe that goes to the intercooler so i will be replacing it the noise has now gone and the power is more smother in higher gears now its feels more stronger so happy with that.
What i did noticed is the trunking that delivers the air to the intercooler through the bumper, is rubbing through the vanes of the bottom of the intercooler not a hole yet but i will be taking the bumper off to trim it up a bit to stop it going any further might be worth pepole checking that on there`s???
thanks every one....
