If it's the Golf in your profile then nothing really, with it being such a new car. Maybe check the tyre pressures are good but you should be okay to be honest.

If you've already got a cover and the car is normally parked under tree's or you normally have trouble with it getting covered in muck, then yes. Otherwise, don't bother as it might attract unwanted attention.

Nothing to worry about, 10 days is no time. I've left my car longer in the airport car park.

good to know.
completely off topic, but why does the car up the revs when its rolling in neutral or when the clutch is down in gear? as soon it comes to a halt, they drop to the normal level. id say it goes up to 900rpm and drops depending on conditions when the car stops.

Probably the ecu seeing a road speed matches the revs to the likely gear that you may select, makes for a smoother transition from neutral into gear.

I've left mine for close to 3 months. Serviced it before I left and have got my mother to drive it for an hour or so every week to keep it moving.

Should be fine mate.

Left a new ford fiesta for a year and half on the drive before (I have epelipsy, not speeding) My Dad moved it once in a blue moon. The battery never needed charged or the A/C and it stared straight away every time. The only thing that needed sorted when I was allowed to drive again was the tyres as the rubber had perished too badly. So leaving a newish car for 10 days should not harm it at all.
