The dumpvalve can be a weak point, assuming it's the same as fitted on my A3 1.8T. It will make a tschh sound as opposed to a woosh if it's faulty and there can be a jerk when changing gear. Otherwise you've covered the main issues I think. I've had mine 7 month and done 12000 miles and it's been brilliant.
One last thing the MAF can be prone to failing.

As can the coolant temperature sensor.

MAF can be replaced in about 1 minute with a single security torx bit, but cost £95 for the part (unless anyone can tell me of somewhere cheaper before I order a replacement tomorrow!)

Coolant temp sensor trickier to replace but cost £15 for the part.

My mate got one from the scrappy for £20 including the airbox. Might be worth a look.

with the rate they go I was trying to avoid a scrappy part! Found a place on ebay that has pretty much every MAF ever fitted to an audi - apart from the one in my car rolleyes

(Sorry for the brief hijack there.)

Front suspension is the main thing to check - can cost a fortune if any bushes are worn.
