My passat sprt tdi est seems to have a problem with its electric mirrors. When you select the left mirror to adjust, it does it fine. When you select the right mirror, both mirrors move. Anyone else had this fault and know of a quick fix that can be done in car. I know my seat had things you could reset by doing a few thinks with the ignition and/or buttons.

Cheers in advance

Kenny I'm afraid they all do that - I work as a service advisor at a VW dealer and I'm asked this question at least 3 times a day - mark 4 golfs do the same and unfortunately theres no way to disable it that I'm aware of. Hope that answers your question.

If you have the highline computer you can turn it off on the MK5.
If not, then you'll need someone with vag-com to do it for you.
