Audi Cabriolet (2000) suspension upgade

My X reg Audi Cab is due for a service shortly and I am considering upgrading the suspension. The reason being there is a lot more scuttle shake than I would like. I'm hoping the problem might be a lot simpler and changing bearings and buying better tyres might make a difference but in case I do need to change the suspension, I'd like to know what options I have other than the standard suspension.

Are there other owners who have changed their suspension? What did you go with and how do you find it?
