Can anyone with a B6 S4 or A4 Quattro Avant please let me know the dimensions of the boot with the seats up (HxWxD)? I can only seem to find the capacity in litres which is rather unhelpful unless I want to liquidise my luggage!

what age/shape?
I have a B6 shape quattro avant I can measure if you can wait till tomorrow.
The A4 is not a roomy car as such for rear passengers or boot space.

What you got to fit in it?

Was looking at a 2003/4 B6 S4. Need to get a double buggy in the back and associated baby stuff. I know it's not huge but it's much bigger than the S3 I have now.

Thank you.

Yes, compared to your S3 it is huge. Even compared to my 8P S3, it's still huge. I wish I'd seen your post earlier, as I had a B7 A4 Avant as a courtesy car yesterday! banghead

well we have 3 kids, and a dog, can get the mother of all pushchairs its a three wheeled thing with disc brake on the front (my only say in the purchase!)in the back and weekend of stuff but it is a squeeze. incidentally, and propbably underpowered for you selling my B6 A4 2.5tdi quattro sport avant if i may tempt you! Just too small for 3 kids... my only word of caution.

I will measure tonight, dimension with seats up, and one with them down?

Thank you. Seats up please. Hight up to the load cover also important.

The plan is to stick with just the 2 kids so hopefully it will be big enough.

If my sensible side wins I may be tempted by a diesel but you are rather a long way from me.

I have an S4 Avant brochure in a box somewhere so if I find that, I'll post the dimensions, thus far I can only find capacities, seats up 442litres and seats down 1184litres.

2002 A4 avant quattro
wide 104cm
high to load cover 43 cm
depth at load floor 98 cm
depth at load cover 67 cm

doesn't take account of under floor area that may give a bit of extra height.

Logged in on sunday morning and was to late, sorry!
What did you drive then? The load cover might be the only pain as it doesnt always cover the buggy. the pull up dog guard bit it well handy too.
If you dont get an S4 the quattro sport spec cars are nicely setup imho.

Chopping in the S3 or selling privately?

I drove an 03 S4 Saloon, although I really want an Avant. I have measured the height of the boot so I think it should cover most buggies. Why is the dog guard useful if you don't own a dog?

Depends on what I am offered for it. Audi main dealer is being rather cheeky.
