Golf Mk 2 shell required urgently!
Discussion
I am looking for a Golf Mk2 shell must be three door, post 1990, with sun roof can be GTi or Driver etc. Must be rust free as possible, engine and all running gear not required, although hubs and wwheels would be useful for moving it, can anyone help need it for the weekend!
Tried all scrap yards, breakers, friends etc with no luck. I twisted mine taking the tunnel out to put the prop through, and not supporting it correctly when I did it Doh!, that combined with the increasing rust means a total chnge would be easier option.
ANyone?

Where abouts are you mate?
Ive got a mate with a H plate Oak Green 16v, its missing a few bits of exterior trim and its a non runner but the shell is pretty solid. He bought it as a spare shell for when he was racing Golf's but he now has a Saxo, so is looking to sell it.
We are in Bristol.

Have you tried the owners websites?
clubgti
edition38
etc..
I got a gearbox from a guy in Leicester a few years ago who had a few MKIIs in his yard.
I think he's on Clubgti as Bustersballs? You could try him or put up a wanted add.
Just had a quick look, here's his website
