Hi all,

My brake discs on the rear seem to have corroded away (not sure why, the outer part of the disc is nakered).

Anyway the pads have loads of life left in them, can i reuse them?

Also, do i need any speciaist tools to do the job myself i.e. do i need anything fancy to push the brake caliper piston back in?

Thanks,

Matt

General rule is to replace pads when you replace discs, re-use at your own risk but i personally wouldnt take chances for a 35 quid set of pads.

You will need a brake caliper rewind tool, they usually come with different adapters for different manufacturers calipers
