Changing wheels on A4 S-Line to 16"

Hi All,

I want to change the 17' wheels on my 2005 A4 2.0 TDI S-line for the ones in the link below.

My car has these wheels...

I just need to confirm that the wheels will clear the brakes adequately, does anyone know?

Firstly those wheels must be very old as they are not from the current range of Audis Or any A4 from recent years ! If You are proposing fitting them to the B7 in the pis it would be a retrograde step
I have four genuine B6/7 Avus desighn Genuine Audi (Ronal)wheels with minor marks if they are of use ???

One question....why? I am considering changing mine soon so would have a set of 17's available.Why you changing to 16's?

I agree with changing to 16s, it gives you a better ride quality, but don't get those ones of eBay they are for the old B6 A4. Also it might be worth debading otherwise the car will look a bit odd (S-Line with SE wheels).
