Audi TTS Auto thingy
Discussion
Looking at an Audi TTS Roadster to replace my 996T
Seems to come really well specc'd, and my local dealer has a pre registered car for 6k off new price which is tepting.
Anyone know if these are being tuned yet, and if so where should I be looking. They are 280bhp stock, I would really like to be another 70 or so on top of that.
Also, anyhting nasty about these that I should consider.

Well,
The TTS is 4 wheel drive, has really good magnetic dampers and corners on rails.
It starts with 280 bhp, and I am hoping that this will raise by another 60 or so after tuning.
It will be brand new, and therefore comes with 3 years of worry free maintenance.
It will use the new auto gearbox with flappy paddles.
The only downside is that the convertable is only 2 seater, but I can live with that.
So, it's very similar to a 996, but 1 second slower. I can live with a second slower.

They come stock as 265bhp and a straightforward stage 1 remap should see around 305. This month's Evo sees the same engine in the S3 being tuned to 400 so I guess there's plenty of room for teaking!

If you have another £10k to hand.......A TTS Roadster with all the options for £35k (list price was £41k)
A TT RS (R) with same spec will be £50k and no way will i get the same level of discount.
Also, not sure about calling a car tits & arse
