B7 RS4 meets it's Grandad!
Discussion
Last Monday, I popped over to a guy's house for a private photo shoot with my RS4.
The reason? The chap has a RHD Audi RS2!
I've never seen one close up, so I dually agreed to relish this opportunity. I wasn't able to get a passenger ride in his car, but I was able to have a good nose around
And what an astonishing car!
Anyway, I thought I'd share a couple of photos from the evening. There were pretty poor light conditions, and I'm not a professional photographer by an stretch of the imagination (as I'm sure you can see!).
However, enjoy!

BTW, that RS2 - it's not the 21k mile car is it??
24k miles - yup, it's that one
I hadn't met the owner before and saw him driving through my local city. I contacted him to ask if it was indeed him, I saw. Once confirmed, he asked if I could go over for the photos - turns out he only lives 20 minutes from me! Small world, eh?

Why the Porsche wheelsthough?
and Porsche mirrors, brakes, development, etc
Anyway, back on topic, both cars look great in the pics. You're a pair of very lucky owners!

I can't believe some people don't know about the Porsche involvement.
Porsche were also heavily involved with the development of the very much under-rated urS4/S6, particularly the steering and suspension. For any one interested even a mildly tuned urS4/S6 gives away very little indeed to the RS2, for a tiny fraction of the price. Stealthier too.
