A few months ago I had ISOFIX retrofitted into the back of my S4. Now I can't find the buckle that you clip the centre seatbelt into. The one for the outer belt is there but the one of the centre is missing.

I assume it is either folded under the seat somewhere or removed as part of the ISOFIX fittment.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to use the centre belt with 2 child seats fitted?

Also how can I lift up the rear seats to check for the missing buckle?

Not sure on the S4, but on my old A4 (b5) it simply lifted off, from front to back. It's on with 2 or 3 metal clips.

So if I just lift it I am not going to break anything?

grab it at the centre, at the front and give it a good pull upwards.

Probably best to stand with a foot in each footwell, with your back towards the rear window if that makes sense?

Thanks. I'll give it a go.
