VW GOLF 2.8 V6 4MOTION Ignition coil/s

Looking for the last 4 weeks without any joy and VW customer services are very unhelpful,parts suppliers have no idea as to when 'stock' will be coming into UK
There seems to be a shortage of the coils/.

Last desperate hope.... Does anyone have a 'spare', or stock from which I can purchase.

Vehicle is an 02 VW Golf 2.8 V6 4Motion

If the part number is 022 905 100 N

then this is the details from vw's new parts info website for dealers back orders.
Part No. Desc. Q. Status. Expected Conf. Updated
022 905 100 N COIL 1 On Supplier Back Order 20/05/2009 35% 15/05/2009

Basically means that the expected supply date of 20/5/09, they only hav 35% confidence in that date being met. Which is basically none and i fully expect that date to be pushed back on monday morning when its updated again.

You are best trying places such as GSF.

Hmm. I had this trouble when I had a coil pack go on my R32. It took a week to get another one so I had the dealer replace all 6 then kept another just as a spare.

Sorry I can't be much help - I sold the car with the spare pack a couple of months ago.
