I am thinking of taking the plungs with one of these, are there any current / past owners that can offer any feedback about living with them?

MHB, lovely cars - except for the topic discussed here:

If you can live with that issue, go for it. Personally, I couldn't live with it... which is a shame.

Thanks for the response. i saw that thread, but would be going for an auto, so hopefully this wouldn't be an issue.

I have a test drive arranged for the weekend, but that will only gice an indication of what a car would be like to live with long term.

I've said this many times - use the test drive to test drive the dealer. The car may be perfect for you, but the dealers in my experience contrive to ruin the whole ownership experience.

Go for it - you won't regret it. It's a great car to drive and looks good too.

I have a 5(not the diesel though) and it's great. Very ergonomic and to be honest I've not noticed any issues with the position of the peddles (and I have a manual)
