Good Garage to Service my Golf in Guildford

My 2003 Golf is in need of a service and an MOT. I live in Guildford Surrey, and am just wondering if anyone would recommend any garage in or around Guildford.

Also I have found Nationalvehicleservicing. They come to the house and the prices seem really good. Anyone used them?

Don't know those but would if you want local family owned garage then you could try Fields in Woking or Hardings in Knaphill. I heard some bad stuff about a VAG outfit in Slyfield years ago but can't remember if it's the same one as you list.

I used to use a VW specialist on the industrial estate in Guildford. Think he as called Ashley? Stopped using him when I wasnt happy with some work done to a brake caliper on my (now) wifes GTi.

Thank you for the replies chaps, not had the internet for while now. I'm still not sorted but have I have been hearing mixed revises on a company in that industrial estate.

Gazzab, do you mind if I ask who you use now if they are around Guildford?

Hi. We sold the golf years ago albeit I subsequently used a garage in Godalming (as my neighbour owned it). There is one in Milford next to the station?
the work by the guy in Guildford that I used was fine albeit I didnt like the economy with the truth and so I moved on.

Ok, I have decided to go with a Garage in Farnham which my family have used for a while and trust.
