VW Phaeton W12 - Tips please

My father in law is looking into getting a W12 Phaeton and has unearthed this

Any words of advice / warning about these barges would be most appreciated.

He doesn't do many miles (4k a year)

Interested to know how they hold up in the electronics department as this has a LOT that could go wrong...especially as it's just tipped past the 100k mark (1 owner and FVWSH)

For instance are aftermarket warranties a safe bet? (Would they even cover such a car?)

Anyway, any info gratefully received
