Just got my new A3, had it for a week now, 800 miles in and its a nice car, however I was waxing the wheels in a bid to keep them clean for a while, and noticed the finish on the sides of the spokes, wasn't lacquer smooth.

Anyone else notice this, or are all 4 wheels on mine indifferent.

Going well, 800 miles in one week 55mpg, just starting to loosen up. Dislike the fact it's no where near as torquey as my old TDI on tick over, which means its easy to stall, steering takes some getting used to as its electrcially assisted, but other than that fine....One regret, I went for the 140, and should have gone for the 170. otherwise happy.

Slight O/T but what TDI did you have before? The CR140 has loads more torque than the PD140 at tickover.

I had a 1.9TDI audi 80, if fact I still have as no-one wants to buy her.....shame really it is a damn good car. (see classified ads.....)

its just as though the whole experience is somewhat light and great, but detached when slow speed..strange but its how it feels
