Morning, I am modifying a 1.8T Beetle and am upgrading it with a K04 Turbo along with TT injectors and a front mounted intercooler. These parts were originally fitted to a Golf and the intercooler pipes were designed to fit the Golf engine bay. Whilst the Beetle is similar, the flitch panels etc are different. I am trying without much success to find a manufacturer that makes a Beetle pipe kit. I could fabricate and weld a bespoke set, but I'm sure I'm not the first person that has done this conversion.
The Turbo has been sent to Turbo Dynamics for a refurb so should be as good as new once returned. The Golf that these parts came off ran around 290 BHP, so it should be an interesting drive once finished.
All help gratefully received.

Speak to Regal autosport - I beleive they've done a fair bit of work on a 1.8T Beetle VW cup car.

You can buy Inter cooler pipe kits off e bay for about 100 quid. I'll be using it in my Mk2 20v. Kit includes various bends, straights & angles so you can put your own piping together. It joins with silicone tubing which is functional but once it's all in place you could easily get someone to weld it all up for you as it looks a bit tacky IMO lol.
