The Goodyears have an excellent reputation, but if your on a bit of a budget try Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. Can be had for under £90 on line.

I've got Falken 452s on my Golf.

A world better than the vile Michelin Energy efforts that were on it before.

I previously had 'continental Sport Contact 2' which were made out of the hardest compound known to man, forget diamond drill bits, if continental make drill bits get the 'Sport Contact 2' editions they'll be ace!

Anyway I replaced all four with the older type Goodyear Eage F1 (GSD3)'s and what an improvement!! amazing in wet and dry, car no longer feels like your running down a wood floor'd hall in your socks when going around tight bends, the newer asymmetrical ones supposed to be even better, I'd like to know how biggrin

Got all four fitted, valved and balanced for £305 which is amazing compared to what I paid for two Conti SP2 which was £200

+1

I have these on my A6 and they are way better wet and dry than the previous Pirelli Pzero's and Dunlop SP9000 and were a great price.

If you can stretch to it Michelin PS2's are my preferred option.
I've tried F1 Assymetrics having previously stuck with Michelin's, and the F1's arent as good as the PS2's, IMO.

If you do decide to go for PS2s, Costco offer really good pricing.
