any S6 milltek 5.2 v10 owners here?

Thinking about the milltek exhaust upgrade for my 57 S6 saloon.

Just wondered what the cabin noise is like at motorway speeds and low speeds. Whilst I think I'd like to unleash the beast a bit, something which is going to sound like a chavved up saxo is going to do my nut in.....I do a lot of long motorway drives....

Its a shame Audi themselves dont do a switchable sports exhaust like porker do....suggestion has been made....

Any one with any experience?

Milltek will have a resonated or non-resonated option available- one of which will I'm sure suit.

Audi muted the normal system on the S6 a fair bit so at least by purchasing the resonated version you could remove some of the silencing if it's too quiet for you or vice versa with the non-res system. Easy enough to swap round.

We put a resonated system on for a customer a couple of weeks back - it sounded a little bit purdy

As demonstrated, it didn't boom at a steady speed either, if anything I'd have had it a little bit louder!

Hmmmm...choices choices...the youtube / milltek sites dont state whether they're resonated or not in the vids...how easy is it to take the resonator out? Is it ramp job? Or can any clown like me do it? ;->
