Friendly PH folks... I have the same posted over in General Gassing whence I normally lurk but also thought I would ask in here being more specialist to the marque....

My little brother has decided to operate some bangernomics and to that end is going to sell his A3 as he has hardly used it over the last 12 months.

It is a 54 plate A3 3.2 Q-Sport in Silver, full black leather and as Q would say all the usual refinements and is in fairness in dam good nick. It has the DSG box, a full Audi S/H and done 38k miles, he asked me for a bit of advice about pitching it price wise right. I said circa £8.5-£9k for a private sale, anyone have any thoughts on if that is about right and if anyone in the know could give an opinion on what the trade thinks of them currently as a saleable prosepct would be grateful.

It may well end up on here in the not to distant future just wanted to get a feeling from those that know what they think.

Cheers in advance.

Price wise you're correct if it is indeed nice and tidy - I'd ask 8950.

Don't forget taht at 40k it will need DSG oil and Haldex oil & Filter if it hasn't already had them done.

Total cost circa £350 at an Audi Centre.

Not a big job by any means, but at 38k something a canny buyer will likely query smile
