No launch control, even though it says it has it in the manual, unless someone knows better. I like using the paddles on the steering wheel to change gear but if I don't use them for a few seconds, the gearbox reverts to auto. The bigest problem is that it won't hold a gear when I go round a long bend. Does anyone know of a mod to keep the gearchang on the wheel?
What a fantastic car though. 5 seats, big boot, quiet, comfortable and faster than a lot of sports cars!

Is there a space next to 'D' on the gearbox with a + & - sign?

Just push it in there, that's what it is like on my A6.

It wont change unless I forgotten to change up/down.

If it's anything like the BMW system then if you use the paddles in D, it will revert back to auto after a few seconds. But using them in S you'll have full control. Can't remember from when I drove a DSG Golf GTI though...

Nice car by the way!

To use launch control, as described above, you also have to ( first ) switch off the ESP

Remember to press and hold the TC button after you press the brake.
