My sisters 52 plate Octavia VRS is in need of a new set of tyres shortly...its currently running 205/50 ZR 17s and does feel and look as though it could wear some bigger boots...anyone running 225/45 ZR 17s on one of these? or a different size?
225/45x17's will be fine, not sure why Skoda went with such a random tyre size on the mk1 as every other VAG group car of that size (A3/Leon/Golf etc) went with 225/45's
I thought about going for 225/45s when i last put new tyres on my old 03 vRS. After doing some digging i opted to stay with the standard size and put Toyo T1-R's on.
