Hi
My 2001 A6 seems to have developed an indicator fault.

After the indicators have self cancelled, or I cancel them manually they still seem to 'click', and it can be much quicker as well, this tends to only happen at motorway speeds oddly. This can last for a couple of minutes and is very annoying.

I searched on here and I wonder if it needs a new hazard light module/switch as was suggested when there was a similar fault with a TT's indicators back in may.

Any thoughts people?

Not sure I entirely understand the symptoms your having, but the insides of the hazard light switch are the same as those on the early TT's and cause just as many problems, so could well be that. We do loads of them.

thanks TT, i was hoping you would see this smile

The indicators will still make the 'tick tick' noise even after they have stopped 'indicating' if that makes any sense.
Sometimes the tick will be very fast as well.
