Ibiza Cupra TDi

I have driven a PD160 and the thing that bugged me most was the unpredictable 'all or nothing' boost that would constantly light up the front wheels np matter how gingerly you drove.
Fantastic straight line speed though. Interior wasn't VW but was nice enough. PD engine was usual noisy VAG stuff but very effective and by all accounts tried and tested as a generally very reliable lump good for big miles.

I would agree with most of what Baz has said except the unpredictability of the boost.Maybe I wasnt drivin it hard enough.I sold mine partly because it didnt suit me and partly because I got a superb deal from the main dealer.Fantastic straight line speed though. Forgot to mention on the Cupra the suspension is rock hard everywhere.
