I'm looking for an indy specialist around Rugby and Vasstech have come up. I think they are a new business...their name pops up on a couple of forums, but only recommended by someone with a single digit post count that always makes me scratch my chin a little.

Anyone got any experience or alternatives to consider?

To answer my own question, yes, they do seem very good. David-Ian (double barrelled, threw me a bit) did what would appear to be a great job on my oil pump chain (see separate thread on A4 oil pump woes), all the old parts were there for inspection, and he did sensible stuff like contact me and ask if I wanted the timing belt doing as it was already in bits. The car was returned valeted, not just cleaned, all glass inside and out, tyres dressed, the works.

They opened early when I dropped it off and delivered it back home to me late, great stuff. No, I have nothing to do with that business, but I do appreciate good service and a new business going the extra mile to get established.

And if anyone uses them, please tell them Iain with the A4 estate with the dodgy oil pump sent you, as I will get a little discount of my next bill!
