DSG - Right turn rat-tat-tat-tat

Hi, I have an A3 3.2 DSG and when I turn right from a standstill it goes Rat-tat-tat-tat until 15mph ish then its fine - doesn't happen turning left but it's off to garage next week for investigation as they think it could possibly be the front diff playing up and I was hoping that someone may have experienced the same problem and may be able to save me a few quid by pointing me in the right direction.

Look under the car, Is the C.V boot split on that side.?

Well, local Audi specialist has had the car four days now - they have replaced N/S CV joint and noise still there!I think they are running out of ideas - Any left field suggestions welcomed - anything to do with the power steering do you think?
