Google doesn't always bring up the answer, so don't just assume he hasn't. To the OP I'm unsure but off the top of my head, I believe all Mk5 golfs (excluding R32) have around 50-60 litre tanks. It's in the manual somewhere.

i did try google and also checked the manual, still no joy..............

i was wanting to know if the 2 vehicles had different sizes of tanks.

No they do not have the same size tank.

I have a Mk5 Golf and the most I have got in a tank is 57 litres. So I would guess it is approx 60.

No prob, in case you haven't found it, the pages I found say that the Golf has the 55 litre tank found elsewhere in the VAG range, and the Caddy is supposed to have a 60 litre tank.

i have just purchased a caddy tdi dsg and filled it up today, its a 60 litres tank as you have said!
